We accepted an offer on our house today.
For far less than we were asking. For much less, in fact, than we need to pay off our debts and get back on our feet.
But on the advice of our lawyer and our real-estate agent, we accepted.
And then one of our tenants, one of the good ones, called to say that she really can't stand living in her teeny-weeny studio apartment anymore and will be leaving when her lease is up.
And I've been wondering: what is the word for the opposite of invincible?
Vincible, maybe?
Because that's how we're feeling. Totally vincible. Like we have been well and truly vinced.

vincible. according to my dictionary, it is a word.
ept, however, is not.
