An Open Letter to the Bunnies in my Garden

You know who you are.

You may be cute but, as I've eventually had to tell every baby of my acquaintance, you can't get by on cute forever.  At some point, you'll have to engage your manners.

And that point is now.

There is nothing to support your claims that the most recently planted are the tastiest.  And yet, what did I see as I stepped outside this morning?  The utter desecration of all my recent hard work.

Try the dandelions, can't you?!!??!

Grass!  It's full of vitamin A!

Creeping Charlie?  Creeping vitamin C, more like!

Why, oh why, do you have to go after my precious tender transplants?

I won't put up with this forever.  Don't MAKE me rip it all up and plant kale.

Don't think I won't.  I've got a recipe for Calde Verde that could use up a whole head of the stuff.

You've been warned.

Hmm, you must also have some good recipes that include rabbits...

In a lovely mustard sauce!

But I was saving that in case things escalate...
