"The Government of Canada sincerely apologizes and asks the forgiveness of the Aboriginal Peoples of this country for failing them so profoundly. We are sorry."
Stephen Harper officially apologized in the House of Commons today for the Residential Schools policy of the Canadian government.
It's too little too late for far too many.
But it's a start.
